We consume endless streams of practical content and entertainment.what is the root cause of burnout, lack of purpose, and the inability to experience joy?
If I look at my feed right now, I see two types of posts. One category is highly practicalâdetailed information, news, tutorials, step-by-step guides. The other is funny posts. That's it. There are no philosophical posts on my feed, even though people are posting them. But not much on my feed.
Are philosophical posts irrelevant to us? Absolutely not. I think this is a mistake the vast majority of the population is making right now. The atmosphere of people today is mistakenly neglecting the philosophical, spiritual, connectivityâhowever you want to say itâaspect of their brain.
We've Reduced Ourselves to Just Our Thinking Brain
As you grow up, it seems like you use less and less of your body and more and more just your brain. As we grow up, we operate on one level: the brain. And not even the entire brainâjust the front end. The thinking brain. That's all we have. That's all we use. That's all we do.
Why is that? Really, why is that?
When you disconnect that much from your entire body, you're disconnected from your entire mind as well. Because the mind is not just the brain.
The Consequences of Only Looking Outward
So you keep reading those funny or informational posts. You keep collecting this how-to data. Claude Code is so amazing. Claude Code Work is so amazing. Yeah, all right. All the news about everything that's going on.
But you have no direction. You have no clarity. You have no purpose. You have no meaning.
Why?
Because you understand everything but yourself. You're focusing on all the outside but yourself. You're collecting data from all the sources but yourself.
Therefore, you're not informed. You have no idea what's going onânot in the world, not in tech, not in politics. No. In your own self. In your own mind.
What This Disconnection Creates
This level of disconnection leads to everything you see around you: fatigue, stress, burnout feeling. And this is a serious topic. It leads to a lack of ability to experience joy in your life, lack of fun and recreation in your life.
This disconnection also leads you to lack the courage to take action on the things that matter to you. Therefore, you're floating around, doing so much, but you're actually walking in circles.
Why?
Because you never realized where you want to go. You never stopped and experienced in yourself and explored in yourself where you want to go. What do you really want to do today? What do you really want to create today?
Operating on Someone Else's Neural Network
You are operating in an agentic loop that is built on an LLM of nothingâa neural network based on the internet.
Okay, but where are you? Where is your desire? Who are you? Where are you heading now?
