Why your beliefs about what's possible determine your reality, and how changing your inner dialogue can transform your life - from becoming a digital nomad to building wealth.
I'm sitting here today in Bulgaria, and I want to share something simple but powerful with you. I've been traveling for many months now - every month we're in a different city. We started in Greece, then moved to Georgia, now Bulgaria. I've already bought flight tickets to Italy for two weeks from now. Every month, different country, different city.
When I tell people about this lifestyle, they all say the same thing: ""Oh, I wish I could do this too."" And I'm like, of course you can! Why would you say you cannot?
But then comes the usual response: ""Oh, but I have a job. I have a life. I have commitments. This lifestyle isn't really possible for me.""
And if this is what you think, well, of course it's not possible for you. If this is what you believe - that it's not possible - you are absolutely right. But if you change that belief, if you change that self-talk, and instead say to yourself ""It IS possible for me. I CAN do this. If other people can do this, that means I can too"" - once you change this belief, everything changes.
When Desires Don't Match Beliefs
I find it fascinating when people's desires don't match their beliefs. How can you say you desire something and not go for it? If you want something, you've got to go for it. In my mind, this is the only possible way.
I changed my belief about working while traveling five years ago. During COVID, I was a digital nomad for 18 months - I didn't have one settled location. I was always traveling because I created that possibility in my life. And actually, it was very easy once I changed that belief.
Sure, it took some work to make it happen, but I only worked because I believed it was possible. If you don't believe something is possible, it will never come to realization, to actualization.
The Money Example
Let me give you another example - money. When you encounter a millionaire (and fortunately, I've met many in recent years), what do you tell yourself? When you see someone with a Ferrari, what's your inner dialogue?
Do you say: ""Oh, he's just showing off"" or ""What a waste of money"" or ""He could have spent that on something better""?
If you want a Ferrari, if you want it to actualize in your life, I suggest you say instead: ""Oh, it's so amazing that he has a Ferrari. I'm so happy for him."" Bless them.
Some people meet millionaires and think: ""He's so stupid. How could such a stupid person have so much money?"" This inner talk is attached to a belief that only stupid people can be millionaires - so if they're intelligent, they can't be millionaires. Do you see the trap?
It IS Possible for You
Here's what I want you to understand: It IS possible for you. There's no shortage of US dollars in this world - they just printed more today. There's no shortage of Euros, Georgian Lari, or Bulgarian Leva. You can be a millionaire. Of course you can.
And you know what? You can be a billionaire too. If some people are, that means it's possible. And it's not just possible for them - it's possible for you too.
Once you change that belief, you start looking at successful people differently. You look at what they do, because success leaves clues - clues you can apply in your life. What's their mindset? How do they talk?
It Works for Everything
This principle doesn't just apply to money. It works for everything. Want a specific type of relationship? It's possible. You know how my relationship came to be? I wrote down exactly what I wanted on paper before I met my girlfriend. Then it actualized in my life.
Recently, we wrote down together the house we want to have, the way we want to wake up in the morning - all of it. It all starts with imagination and 100% belief that it's possible.
The Greatest Trap
What's funny is that society keeps telling us ""be realistic"" all the time. Don't believe them. This is what's causing you to feel stuck - it's the belief.
Of course you can. Of course you can. Of course you can.
Change your beliefs, change your inner dialogue, and watch your reality transform."
