Where are you going and where are you now? That's a fantastic question to ask yourself today.

When I say ""where are you going,"" I mean how life is going to feel when you reach that point you're looking to reach. And you know exactly what I mean because deep inside yourself, you know exactly what point you want to go to. You know exactly where you want to go and how it's going to feel. You just never put it into words.

This is what I'm asking you to do today.

Your Point B: The Dream You Already Know

How is it going to feel when you finally reach the point you want to go and reach? Maybe you dream of being a social media influencer, a real estate millionaire, or the number one actor on Broadway. Or perhaps it's something smaller—being a family man, having a farm, owning 20 acres in Arizona.

I don't know what your dream is, but you do. You know it deep inside. You've known it since you were a child, since your very first day. You know it because once you saw someone else achieve exactly what you dream of, and it inspired you.

Over the years, you've learned lessons along the way. Now your point B looks somewhat similar to that childhood inspiration, but it's evolved with your own nuances and contributions.

What Do You Really Want to Do?

If you still don't know what I'm talking about, or you think I'm being hypothetical, ask yourself: What do I want to do?

But don't lie here. You don't really want to eat McDonald's or watch Netflix all day. Those are things you're conditioned to do—habits formed over time. But what habits do you want to have? What do you truly want to do?

The Common Thread: Emotion

Beyond the 20 acres, the millions of dollars, or the Broadway stage, there's one common thing underlying all your dreams: emotion.

You don't want 20 acres just to have them. You want them because you're looking to feel a certain emotion. How will those 20 acres make you feel? How will that million dollars make you feel? Secure? Confident? Powerful? Calm? Peaceful?

Every person is different. All your dreams are nothing but a mirror toward the emotions you're lacking and want to feel. You believe that once you get there, then—oh then—you'll feel what you want to feel.

Why Dreams Get Neglected

Over the years, you start neglecting your dreams, putting them aside because ""you have a life,"" and life and dreams don't seem to go together. At some point, you gave up. You decided your dream was too big, unachievable. You convinced yourself you'd never feel that emotion.

The Modern Approach: Feel It Now

I'm here to tell you something different. The modern way of achieving your dreams involves two steps:

  1. First, take the emotion and feel it now—feel it today
  2. Second, let the achievement come to you

You don't attract emotion; you attract the outcome. You attract the outcome with the emotion of how you're going to feel once you reach it.

Feel as if you've already achieved it, and only then will you see this manifested in your life.

Why This Works

There are several reasons this approach is effective:

1. You See Opportunities Everywhere

Once you feel a certain emotion, you start seeing it everywhere. It's like buying a 2003 Subaru—suddenly you see that car everywhere, though you never noticed it before. When you experience the emotion of success, you start seeing opportunities everywhere because you're walking the world as if you already are this person.

2. You Get More Cooperation

When you experience the emotions of achieving your goals, it becomes much easier to get cooperation from others who will help you succeed. When you embody calmness, peacefulness, satisfaction, purpose, and power, everyone wants to help you. People want to experience those emotions too, and success is all about cooperation.

The Practice: Bringing the Future to the Present

So here's what you do:

First, be honest with yourself. After perhaps 15 or 20 years of neglecting your dream, tell yourself honestly what it is. Then realize: if you achieve this, how will it make you feel?

Those emotions—whether it's feeling powerful, peaceful, or wholesome—that's really where you want to go. The buildings, acres, and achievements are just portals to your real dream: feeling those emotions.

Take that emotion and bring it from the future to the present moment. Feel it right now. When you feel it now, something beautiful happens—it's no longer ""where I want to go,"" it's ""where I am right now.""

And when it's where you are right now, everything comes to you.

This is manifestation. Some call it the power of the subconscious, the power of intention, or the process of becoming. This is the modern gift for the world—the realization and healing we've discovered for implementing goal setting and dream achievement in your life.

You might not be in the place where you've won that Grammy Award yet, but the emotion you'd feel after winning it? You can bring that in today. And once you do, everything will be different.

I wish you nothing but luck, success, cooperation, satisfaction, and purpose.
